Pawnbroker Simulator: First Higgle offers an interesting concept by letting you experience the life of a secondhand shopkeeper, but unfortunately, the demo also leaves a lot of room for improvement. The basics of the game—appraising items, negotiating with customers, and trying to make a profit—are present, but currently feel quite limited and repetitive. The first-person perspective provides some engagement, but the gameplay lacks the depth and variety to truly hold your attention for long. Visually, the game looks functional but very simple, and there are clear areas for improvement in the interface that do not always benefit ease of use.
The soundtrack does contribute somewhat to the atmosphere, but the overall experience currently feels unfinished and not fully developed. There is a limited number of customers, items, and interactions, causing it to become somewhat monotonous after a short time. The negotiation system also sometimes feels too simple and can be frustrating because it is not always clear how to achieve the best result. For players who enjoy trying simulation games and are interested in the concept, it might still be worthwhile to keep an eye on the development of this game, but as a demo in itself, Pawnbroker Simulator is not very strong at the moment. It lacks a certain appeal and depth needed to keep it interesting for longer.
