Life Below has an intriguing premise: surviving and exploring in a mysterious underground world that you discover slowly. The atmosphere is atmospheric and evokes a sense of suspense and curiosity, which fits the survival genre well. The visual style supports the setting well, with dark, oppressive spaces alternating with surprising places to explore. This ensures a pleasant alternation between exploration and survival.

However, the gameplay currently remains quite limited and repetitive. The goals you pursue are often simple and lack depth, causing the game to become less challenging and less engaging over time. There is little variation in the tasks and interactions, making the experience feel monotonous at times. The survival mechanics are basic and sometimes lack balance, meaning survival is not always satisfying.

Technically, the PC version runs stably, but the game still lacks some polish. Some animations and interactions feel unfinished, and there are minor bugs that occasionally disrupt the immersion. The interface could also be more user-friendly, as it sometimes takes effort to find all the information quickly and clearly. For players who enjoy survival and exploration, Life Below could certainly be interesting as a concept and as a first step in a larger project. However, the current state of the game still feels too simple and limited to hold long-term attention. With more depth, variety, and polish, it could become a strong title, but for now, it is primarily a game with potential that does not yet fully live up to its promises.
